Canon 300d

My sister uses a Nikon D40 and I think I've convinced her to look at another camera. The D40 starts at ISO 200 and the lens options are limited if you want to have autofocus. She is going to try out canon stuff and maybe switch. I'm playing with my 300d before I send it off to her. Looks like it's working fine to me. Anyone else use the D40? Is it worth using or should she give up and switch now? Thanks for looking comments...

Very nice!!! Your daughter seems to be a real natural in front of the camera. The one thing that I noticed in a couple of your photos is you chopped the fingers. Not a big deal. Overall these are great photos!

Very cute photos for sure.. what camera are you using? Is the background white or another shade?? I'm sure in PP you can bring the colors close to what you are expecting, but with some changes in camera settings you might be able to save yourself some work in the future.

My wife and I wanted to get some shots of her and our son before the arrival of our next one. I'm still trying to understand how to create good light. Let me know what you all think? 1 2 3 - Big Brother's First Impression

ha ha! Too cute! I really like the overall feeling with the light in this one... it's funny because both kiddos are absorbed in their own thing and seem to not care about much other than what they are doing or thinking... typical of a child.

I had the chance to get in a little photo shoot with my daughter today. By the time we get our act together the light was gone from the backyard. We had fun, but only got a few shots before the light was too far gone. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

A good friend asked me to take some photos of her and her children - this is her favorite so far, but how can I improve it, now with PP, and before what should I have done while shooting? The white of the daughter's shirt seems blown out - what else could I work on? Thanks for your help.

The things that jumped out at me... #3 is very nice, like the eyes, maybe change your position so that you can hide the corner of the chair that can be seen #4 would be solid if the woman's eye's were looking at the camera #5, same woman as in #4 is again not looking at the camera, and the yellow strap of the girl in the lower right needs to be cloned out (or she should have pulled up her ...
