I dont think there really is a standard size for the tube itself. It used to be that ya couldnt find tubes above 50mm, 42mm id, then after a while a couple of companies went up to 55~60mm, 45~50mm id, but lately Ive found glass tubes up to 8" od, so it wouldnt be too unreasonable to see a 2.5" or even 3" inner diameter or more {didnt stop and bust out a tape, but I saw some pretty big diameter bongs at the show a...

Is it a grommet bong or a glass on glass bong? Grommet bongs come in 9mm and 12mm and glass on glass is 14 and 19. I personally don't like torch lighters as they seem to incinerate the bud. Though I know of plenty of folks that love them.

Yea, I wasnt looking for one with a perc, but thats what he had, at a great price, too. Im so glad it has a perc; barely any drag, and always one of the cleanest most satisfying type of hit ive ever had. I LOVE GonG Bongs! I need an ashcatcher, too, though I think im gonna hold out for a stand-alone type that comes apart for easier cleaning. Something so satisfying about taking a crisp hoot from a fresh clean bong!

nope. A glow rod is a glass rod, which is heated at one end in a torch or on a gas stove until its glowing, then used to ignite bowls, bongs, whatever.

I respect your position but I didn't see anything compelling enough to cause me to switch to wooden pipes. Having used several fine wooden tobacco pipes (having never been sullied by tobacco) I have to say that we still had to re-light the bowl. So I think its more of the composition of the material (resinous) smoked that is important in that regard. However I'm sure that there are many varieties...

Blunts and blunts only, I have never smoked a 'joint', or out of a pipe, mainly White Owls, (Pineapple, Peach, Green Apple, Grape, or strawberry), Swisher Sweets, Havana Honeys, Garcia Vega, are my top 4 favorites, I refuse to use 'wraps', They just do not taste as good as a freshly cut cigar, But that's just my opinion. Included some links to some cigar companies I get my cigars from. Enjoy!...

a hands free vape would be ideal, or a bag system. I've been one handed before, it's a dilemna trying to smoke. Cheapest option would be if you know someone that would be kind enough to roll your stash for ya.

Blew up! Oh that does suck...Hmm.. could have occurred from the glass heating at different rates... Basically the absolute best way is to buy a quality brand from a reputable place. Basically cheaper glass is usually more transparent (speaking about "worked" art glass of course), has one major decorative method (such as fuming), speckled glass (made from reused broken glass) and is thin. ...

Hmm... not sure the PVC fittings or even the brass coupling are good for
your health. Both PVC and brass contains toxins which are bad for your
brain.
