Studying Spanish in Small Groups
Published (2009-11-30 07:43:00)
Please PM me, if you'd be interested in studying Spanish in a small, private group, at either the beginner (knows some Spanish, but has some difficulty putting sentences together), or intermediate level (speaks Spanish- can put sentences together, most of the time; and, can speak somewhat grammatically, but wants to learn more). The groups will meeting at, or near, the Universidad del Caribe, which is located at the north end of...

But, I'm glad it's still the consensus opinion in America that, on balance, welcoming immigrants to our shores is a good thing. 1.- Claiming defamation on the part of the government and stating that removing the lawsuits they have against the government would be an admission that they were wrong, the layers and spokesman for the Real Resorts (The Royal and Gran Caribe Real) say they will not withdraw the lawsuits. The government has stated that if they don't, those hotels will not get sand. http://www.elperiodico.com.mx/25100/se-niega-zalvidea-a-retirar-demandas/...

Pretty close LTL. Papeleria Cancun is the name and it has entrances from both Margaritas, running south off Uxmal, one running in each direction. There is parking at or beside the store on both sides of the store. If coming from Coba, the streets are called Alcatraces and they are right after Tulum and before Yaxchilan, the first one at the corner where El Tacolote is located. Another way for pedestrians is to get to Parque Las Palapas and...

V. I found the info: "Just being a nurse and certified by US standards does not mean visa or GC since the program specifically for nurses has been closed . There are still exceptions for medical staff open to working in areas with shortages." in http://www.city-data.com/forum/legal-immigration/630253-moving-florida-uk-3.html (wanting to move to Florida from UK). Immigrating to the U.S.

Well, you were right on one thing, it is far more efficient and time saving to obtain a fiance visa and marry a Mexican in the States...than to marry in the foreign country and then apply for permission. I may marry a Mexican woman, and whereas I can't speak for anyone else, we will simply deal with tourist visas for her, when and if the occasion arises. She has no desire to ever live in the States, and I don't think her sons do,...

Well, the plot thickens even more. Summary from several local online papers. Some very "direct" quotes--original Spanish at the end for those who may want to check the source.
1.- They have done the Park Royal Cancun Caribe beach, moved on and then bypassed about 200 meters of beach--the 200 meters in front of the Gran Caribe Real and The Royal Resort and are moving south in the beaches ...

I thought some people might want to share their thoughts and information about immigrating to the U.S.! Questions have been raised, and comments made, about issues relating to this on this forum; for example, in the context of a poster, U.S. citizen, married to a Mexican and having problems getting them into the U.S.
This is also an attempt to move the discussion of U.S. Immigration off ...

Go up Ave Uxmal, behind the bus station 2 blocks. Cross the street and head down the 2nd Margaritas street (it is one way and loops around). Just a little way down you will see Cancun Paperia or something like that on the left. It is a huge art supply store.
Once inside dont miss the other floors as it is easy to do. Make your way to the left and go down the hall. This opens up to ...

I will leave all of the other errors and misstatements to others more involved in the processes at the moment but a naturalized Mexican citizen can most certainly vote.

So on some of my walks I have noticed Swastikas spray painted on walls. One being a block away from me. Can someone please explain to me the reason/story/history behind this? V,
Well, sort of. As it gets cooler most people cut back on their air conditioning and the bills net out at pretty much the same.
Great information, nonetheless.
I guess, though, if you are like me and decide to stay cool all the time, you get the mordida when you see the CFEmbill.

I personally don't think the fact that he's foreign should have anything to do with your decision making.
If he's causing that much of a problem, as a landlord it's your job to talk with him yourself, make him aware that the neighbors feel uncomfortable with his presence and try to come to a compromise. Try to help him out before you make any radical decisions like evicting him.

We often go running and biking in Puerto Juarez, starting just before the new complex (Puerto Del Mar) and all the way up, past El Meco Ruins and either to the old roundabout at the end of the road or we go left and carry on, heading towards Punta Sam, until we get to the last big roundabout before the rough road starts (that takes you to Isla Blanca), it's about 12k each way. It's possibly...

The rainy season may at last be getting under way here in Cancun, and with it will come more of those tiny, black, relatively slow flying mosquitoes that bite mainly the lower legs and feet, most often at dusk and dawn. With these I can't say, as I have for years, that I'm safe from mosquitoes whenever my wife is seated at the same table, because these seem to have no male/female preference!...

I just read http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=43 982 and have a question. According to the post, the restoration project has begun at kilometer 10 and his heading north towards Punta Cancun. Is it to be inferred from that information that the restoration will not run to the south as well? Does anyone have any information?
