airport pick up

I believe you take it from terminal 2, although I have heard some folks mention that the ADO bus at times makes stops at the different locations. The Cancun airport is not that big (then again they did open the new section already). Once in Cancun just ask someone where to find the ADO station _________________ Manny Cancun is great, but www.CancunWithMe.com is even better!! Pictures of Rivera Maya Tours and Cancun Living!! Bus to Puerto Juarez
Published (2009-12-02 09:44:00)
As Tori says, most of the R-1's go to Puerto Juarez, BUT you must make sure it says "Puerto Juarez" or "PJ" on the signs or front windows. Some R-1's make the right off Tulum onto Lopez Portillo and then make a quick U-turn. At that point you can look down Lopez and see the tall building that looks like it could be an observation area (it's not, rather it is a below average over priced...

If saving money is the objective, then the bus is the cheapest, if you want to get to the hotel quicker, do the hotel zone shutttle, $14 per person. I'm guessing after teh fligth, the teenager will want to hit the beach asap! You could always take the ADO from downtown out to the airport to save $, and then shuttle back. The airport bus is 40 pesos

Good Mexican Food Restaurants!

CancunWithMe.com wrote: Cancun is a relatively new city, less than 40 years old. Because of this there isn't really a local/traditional flavor of the area. The closest thing we have to "local food" would be yucatecan food which is great. Yucatecan food is based mostly on chicken and pork, and the classics are Cochinita Pibil, Lomito, Pok Chuc, Relleno Negro, Salbutes, and Panuchos. Now in general for good...

I've used Expedia a lot, probably about ten times! I've never had any trouble at all with them. I have also used travelocity, but never Orbitz, so I can' comment on that one. I say if its cheaper on expedia, go for it!

Does a bus from the hotel zone still go to Puerto Juarez? Couldn't find one this year. Had to take a collectivo from Ave Tulum at Lopez to the ferry. Jimmy

Jimmy...you have to get on the R1 bus that says Puerto Juarez in the window. All other R1's stop where you did and you have to take the Collectivo the rest of the way. I just figured this out this year. Now leaving the Port, I would think you would wait forever for that R1, so the Collectivo to Av Tulum is your best bet.

The amount of sand that's being relocated in this project is truly amazing, as will be the beaches, when they finish!

You can take a taxi to the airport to meet him, then the two of you would have have to take a shuttle or private transfer back to the hotel together.

We have used them before for transfers to hotels south on the Riviera Maya and found their service excellent as well as economical.

I want to make a suggestion. In 2001, I made a little 8-1/2 x 11 sign with my resort's name on it, and I was walking around the gate at the airport with it right before we boarded the plane for Cancun. A group of six from our area was staying at the same resort as us (they commented on my sign), and we ended up hanging out a lot together. I'd try that if you don't get any takers. ...

There is bus service multiple times every hour from 9 am to 9 pm (and 1 per hour until midnight?? Can't remember) from the bus station in Playa to downtown Cancun. The trip takes about an hour and 10 minutes and cost 38 pesos each way.
From Cancun international airport to Playa is a little under an hour on the bus system and costs 90 pesos each way.
Playa and Cancun are similar yet ...
