Hi All, My girlfriend has been detected with Metastatic Liver Cancer, which spread from a Colon Cancer she had almost 3 years ago. She's 27 and a very healthy lady otherwise. Upon prognosis its been found that she has Fibromellar Carcinoma, resulting in 2 tumours, both under 3.5 cms on the left lobe of her liver; along with several lymph nodes. She will undergo a liver resection surgery on the 15th of this month. I shall be much obliged...

Hi Lindsey. I am so sorry about your advanced Liver Cancer. I just wanted to say Hi to you because I know so very little about Liver Cancer. I know that both Tarceva and Nexavar have been around for a while but other than that, I have no information. Others will be along to help you. Take care and try to enjoy Thanksgiving.

Hi Kelly, Ten years ago, I watched my father experience the same symptoms you are describing with your father. As in your father's case, my dad also refused to go the doctor, a point which I found particularly frustrating. The fact that your mom did not follow through with her colonoscopy is disturbing. However don't give up and believe it is cancer. I am a breast cancer survivor but my spots were cyst only. Does she have a liver biopsy scheduled?
