Every kid is different. My DD got the biting=no milk instantly and we were done with it. My DS on the other hand thought it was a great game and loved biting no matter what I did. If I cried, he laughed. I would unlatch and say no and wait a while - he would just do it
again, and again, and again.... The only thing that worked for me was to really work on the latch and make sure his neck was...

This happened to my newborn last fall - I was really worried, but it turned out to be nothing. I did bring him to the doctor, and - I'm sorry my memory is so foggy - I *think* one suggestion was that the baby was allergic to the

I just returned to my job (in a
chem lab) three weeks ago and am still nursing DS. The chemicals that I work with are not that toxic and we have very good ventillation and safety protection so I am not concerned with anything passing into the milk. I think the general rule is if
solids are cutting into breastfeeding then cut back on solids or discontinue them until they become an addition to the breastfeeding, not a replacement of. How much solids are you giving per day?
