If all lobbyists would be banned from contacting politicians, the world would be a much better place. I humbly suggest that advocating the banning of lobbyists as a solution to anything is patent nonsense in any language........it ain't never gonna happen. I fully understand that global warming~climate change devotees hate it when faced with any info that mocks their pet agenda, I guess adding pets to their pet agenda surely complicates...

There is a formula for energy in versus energy out . It takes more energy to make hydrogen available than you get from burning it. The only way I can think of that might have some potential on this is to have solar power do the work. As you said, it is expensive, very expensive. Hydrogen power has been forecast for as long as I can remember and it is no closer to practicality than ever. I'm convinced that is why mega-corporations like it;...

Toby posted: was pushing hydrogen which is a lovely delay tactic because it has no future. I sure wouldn't rule hydrogen fuel cells out, at least, not yet. I think our future energy needs will come from a lot of different sources. One of those sources will be wind power which often produces power when it's not needed. Hydrogen production during those low-demand times would make a lot of sense. The efficiency of producing hydrogen has...

British Columbia was the only province in the country to report an increase in greenhouse gas emissions from major industries in 2008, according to figures released by Environment Canada. The figures cover so-called "facility greenhouse gas emissions" from power plants and heavy industries such as mining, pulp and paper, and petroleum. British Columbia's dubious distinction was largely the result of oil and gas...

My last neighbour had a bunny but unlike my neighbours to the west, did not have a cage for the dear Fionna Lopp who was picked off one nite by? Owl, raccoon, dog? Dog is eaten in parts of the world; I can't believe you would do that Cindy! Roland, hold your ears! But dogs are not vegetarians as are rabbits who eat only veggies, not requiring them to be predigested by another species first, and many dogs are euthanized in N/A. We're...

---the B.C. government continues to offer tax breaks to the petroleum industry. You are right, it is obscene! I think the carbon tax was a good idea--tax the bad stuff, but give give tax breaks to the petroleum industry?? It's time to kick them away from the public trough! It's also time to provide temporary incentives to various segments of the renewable energy industry until they are ...

You/they can call it a myth if they want. That's not important. What do they propose to change the way we exist in the world? What do they propose to stop the rape and plunder of the earth, wind and water? How do they propose cleaning up the earth, wind and water? What do they suggest that is constructive? It is obvious that we cannot continue damaging everything, consuming at a voracious ...
