Chickenpox
Published (2009-12-04 20:27:00)
I just remember the itching when I had them and our daughter hasn't had them yet however she did have hives when she was 10 months and we were told to use calamine lotion and benadryl though I would double check with your dr or your local pharmacist first. Based on her age and weight (18 lbs) we were advised to give her 1 dose of Benadryl twice a day.

cosleeping opinions
Published (2009-11-28 00:43:00)
i know so many people used to tell me all the cons about co-sleeping, but we could all see who was more well rested and in their RIGHT mind at work... The dangers of smothering ur child is related to cases whose parents were intoxicated at the time, i was a DEEPP sleeper, once the fire alarm went off and i didnt even wake up, but the day i had my 1st baby, if she even stirred i woke up, i guess its ur natural instincts.

Yellow stains on baby clothes
Published (2009-12-04 10:39:00)
I would also try Clorox bleach pen...I know you mentioned there are other colours on it so just try the pen on the little spots you need to get out. It shouldnt run and will get out the stains *sigh* I have to pull out all the boxes of baby clothes now too and start washing them slowly

I'm having my 3rd BOY!
Published (2009-12-02 21:16:00)
Congrats! I only have the one boy, so can't relate at all. But I agree with Bub, I think life would be far more difficult with girls in the teenage years! Funny though, when young men get into trouble (at least when it comes to driving offenses), they often don't fix it themselves - it's amazing how many of them get their MOMS to call and try to straighten things out! I must say, if such things ever happen when my DS is old...

My baby girl was born Nov 23rd at 9:16pm weighing 7 lbs 9 oz, which was a surprise for both my husband and I and my doc ( I was measuring smaller ). One of the best things was I didn't have a c section, I wanted one in the beginning but with the support of a wonderful nurse I agreed to see how things would go. I'm not ashamed to admit I had many wonderful drugs to help along the way and I ...

Have you tried regular Oxy rather than the baby variety? Not sure if there's a difference, but might be worth a try!

I am sitting here in front of my laptop with Monsters Inc. playing on half my screen because my son would not calm down. As soon as he hears the music at the opening credits he stops crying. It seems that that is the only thing that gets through to him...

I haven't had experience with this, but would probably still do a small gift myself (e.g. purchase an inexpensive christmas mug, fill with candies or hot chocolate pouches, wrap with cellophane and tie with ribbon)
That being said, I don't think you NEED to purchase a gift as well, and maybe having your child bring just a Christmas card signed by him or her with a little note mentioning that ...

lol, sorry to laugh but i just had a FLASHBACK , i felt the exact same way.
It sounds intimidating at first but it all sinks in and you just start going with the flow, mine are 5, 3 and 9 months . The only thing i really avoid doing is taking them altogether when i'm doing my grocery shopping (or any kind of shopping), i only have 2 hands and there are 3 of them.
Other then that, my 5 ...
