If your car has ONLY ABS, it will be a 3-channel system - one sensor on each front wheel (hub), and a 3rd sensor on top of the rear axle housing center section for rear wheel speed. If your car has BOTH ABS and traction control, it requires a 4-channel system - one sensor on each front wheel, and one sensor on each of the rear wheels (brake backing plate). These cars have no sensor on top of the rear center section. To determine if your car...

Right, I agree. The reason I do it is because of the 12 bolt so it has the extra U-joint on there that shouldn't cause any balancing issues but I am afraid it sometimes does. Take that for what it is worth...

Yes do it, go with the weld in type! I've got 2pt weld-in SFC's and I thought it made a difference.

difference in shocks?

If you want a good street shock look into koni's. Qa1's for drag racing. Your not going to find a dual purpose shock, its one or the other.

Pretty sure the tires are just too big for my car. Too much meat between the rim and the tread i think or the front to rear ratio. My rears were 27" and the fronts were 24ish". Gonna call the tire shop to see what they will do first.

What difference would there be if I bought one of the Rear coil-over kits that you gave the link to...compared to buying these rear shocks and new stock springs seperate http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HAL-TC2502P/ My goal is 400rwhp, although I do most of my driving on the streets, I see the track every now and then.

Does anyone have access to the GM troubleshooting procedure for that ABS code? I have access to a Tech 2.
The car is now parked for the winter, so it is no huge rush.

Your front shocks are already "coil-over".... that's the stock 4th Gen configuration. The idea is to switch to a shock with an adjustable spring seat, so you can adjust the ride height of the car.
Stock front deCarbon coil-over shock (spring removed) with QA1 adjustable and Eibach spring):
In the back, stock configuration is separate shocks and springs. But outfits like Spohn ...

This is on stock springs , correct?
Get shocks and new bump stops, I doubt the springs are bad.
Also when replacing the bump stops, don't reinstall the aluminum spacer.
FYI, your budget is only a good starting point for the rear shocks.

You can use the stock sway bar and mounting brackets on the 12-bolt (Strange, not sure about the Moser) simply by extending the notches in the brackets that fit over the metal strip welded to the axle. Rotating the brackets moves the sway bar backwards, so it clears the rear cover - at least it did on my Strange 12-bolt, with the LPW aluminum cover.

Vibration of the stock steel driveshafts is a common problem. There was a technical service bulletin (TSB) issed by GM that allowed some people with cars still under warranty to get a new aluminum driveshaft. Those TSB's have all expired now. Common solution is to get an aluminum DS out of a 1LE option car, or out of an LS1 car.

I found it at Ace Hardware. They usually have all the bolts and such that I need, but the 7/16" was very difficult to find. They had one section that had it, in the boxed tray section on top, not the loose bulk stuff.

In your torque arm/pinion angle thread, you complained of a clunk in the right rear over a bump. That, plus the side-to-side lack of control may be pointing to a damaged bushing on that end of the Panhard rod.
