Your doing it wrong. The rails are the last thing to be installed after all riveting is done. Stop worrying about where to measure. Bend that flat...and go to a Build party. Besides...I have yet to see a flat bending jig that accommodates rails already installed. EDIT: What is your location ?

I have the same gun and same problem so what I did was shaved the under-trigger guard and stippled the whole entire grip area for positive hold when shooting. I also did that for my glock-19. Taking off the finger groove is not a good idea (personal opinion) because if for some reason you plan to sell the pistol someday then you will loose a lot of value. Check out pics of my Glk-30
