Regardless of the intent, it's going to be up to the seller (or buyer in the case of a flake seller) to notify the mod that oversees the marketplace anyways... so the forum policy itself can be "zero tolerance" but there's still going to be a level of discretion in the reporting of the issue. None of us, and none of the mods, know what happened between "I'll take it" and...

Aaahhhnold on Leno...

Just the idea that he was "using" that just kinda got to me. Good thing he wasn't shooting a .50cal...

My relatives in Texas tend to go gun shopping while I'm there...they say they want my input, but I think they're just trying to rub my face in the fact that they're in and out in 30 minutes. That and they always let the guy behind the counter know that I live in CA, which evokes an expression halfway between disgust and pity.

I like the 1911 in the .45, but for an animal as big as a bear... I think the hunters on this site will give you some great info. Me, I think anything other than a kill shot is going to just tick it off. Friends of mine who like hunting wild boar with handguns used a .357 or larger. Facing an animal with paws the size of frying pans just makes me stay outa their territory. And, ...

Wouldn't you be covered if it were an LE sting if you insisted on transfer through FFL with DROS? Wouldn't cost the seller anything, so he'd have no reason to refuse just because he would think you were paranoid.

Can a 3 year old be patient enough to go hunting? All it would take is a temper tantrum to send every animal within a 5 mile radius running, you've seen the kinda kids I'm talking about with all the screaming and foot stomping and crying. Extra baggage, leave him behind unless you know he can keep quiet and sit still for long periods of time.
