GI 1911 Trigger Weight vs. Glock 22

OP, also, buy what you like and what shoots well with you. Don't get caught up in needing a 1911 or a Glock. Sig Sauer makes an awesome gun too. XD's are supposed to be nice as well, but I haven't shot one yet. Basically, rent a lot of guns and then settle on what makes sense to you. If you stick with one of the usual guns you probably won't have any issues with it. Also, it won't hurt to check out some of the CZ guns.

Loco doubt that Sig would sell a refurbished gun with cracks. I am sure they still go through a testing process. Out of all of my guns, if I had to go into hell and back I would take my sig even with the round count I have on mine. It is an awesome and reliable weapon.

bought a Phoenix Arms HP22 a while back...love it but should have paid the extra $25 to get the whole kit...jack***** at the gun show didn't mention it came with more than a case..anyways, the federal and western ammo i'm using right now dont always seem to rack the slide far enough to eject. doesn't happen TOO much, but enough that I'm posting this thread. i'm thinking that higher velocity ammo might help but i'm...

Keep in mind that the USP Compact was originally designed for 13 rounds of 9mm or 12 rds of .40. If you're going by that rule, than USP, P226, Glock 17/22, XD, etc. would also be too big for just 10 rounds. But they weren't designed for just 10 rounds. One really great pistol that is too big for what it is. Is a Mk23. I love that gun. I want one. But It's really over-sized.

I happen to be a big fan of the 45colt , My first centerfire handgun was a ruger blue Bisley in 45 colt with a 7 1/2 icnh barrel , after alot of practice i was able to shoot it pretty well . The bisley seems to have a love/hate following , there seems to be just as many that hate as love it. With the Blue Label price, Why not keep the HK. Price point the Glocks for comparison, You will save at least $100 off the top and in most cases even more. Firearms are investments, They don't depreciate like most other items.
