Hi folks, Nice to be back! Here's a recent tune shortlisted for our 2nd collection; Away With Misery ( the only song posted there at present) Larry Hansen on acoustic guitar, mandolin, bouzouki, bass & percussion, James Griffiths on electric guitar and softsynths.

Neat, the guitar almost sounds like an improved version of Kirk Hamett's old sound ( Master of Puppets era) The bass drum seemed maybe to bassy? muffled? not sure what it is, but maybe the low EQ on the bass drum could lay back a tiny bit. Hi, Ron, This is really great! I like the way the sections flow as the different textures of the instruments come in and out. The vintage organ sounds like I remember my first keyboard, a 70's Tiesco chord organ, the acoustic guitar is perfect, and the home made amp sounds killer on the slide solos! The vocals sound excellent and the mix is nice ...

Interesting. At the risk and possibly the vagaries of MP3, or the layer of carpet it has to penetrate, I would have liked the vocal just up a tad. Nice job guys.
