Acording to the Gadget Show the only ISP that will give you a Genuine Unlimited Download is SKY with their Premium Package. I am with Orange and I am happy with them at present. I joined this a Long time ago when it was freeserve and I got an amazing package then, (it is no longer available), and I do get Unlimited Downloads. If I did decide to change I would lose this package and would never get it back so for now I am sticking with Orange....

he he he at least I admit to being on the defensive Why not do a bit about health service in Edi, whilst they looked after hubby really well when he was down there, it is also not perfect, unless of course you have your own rose tinted glasses.

I posted this in here as i thought i would get the best response. I am currently with VirginMedia on a 2MB line which isn't really living up to it's actual speed(you never get full speed but you know what i mean). I am paying £17.99 a month for it which I find is well overpriced. I was wondering what the best ISP is for up here? I am looking for both speed and price not to mention ...

There is a 60% chance of Severe Blizzards, Snow and Drifting Snow for the Highland (This is the lowest risk for the regions of the UK which weather warnings have been issued) 80% for parts of England. That's accoroding to the MET office. It's definitly cold enough but I can't see there being a lot.

it's looking like i might be interviewed by the Mail on Sunday to do with the PWS network ( Personal Weather Station). .... I'd just like an idea of why you choose to look at my weather station (if you do) and what info you find useful, how you use that info and any other comments you think are useful. thanks.

Who would you give an award to if you had the choice? It can be someone you know or anyone really. I would give Daniel Craig an award for being the sexiest man alive second to my other half (obviously) I would give my eldest an award for sticking at college and doing better that I could have expected. An award goes to my youngest for learning his alphabet by watching Countdown...

We will be holding our next meeting to further discuss plans for a youth cafe/ centre in Wick on Wednesday 10th December at 7pm at the Community Education Offices, beside the North School. We really need the support of the public in any way possible in order to be successful. All we ask is for a couple of hours of your time- just come along and show your support. You don't need to make ...

Hello Everyone, Am soon to start writing up a feature article on the state of the health service in the Far North (focusing mainly on Caithness), therefore I am appealing to anyone whose own health (or whose friends and family) has suffered due to what they believe to be inadequate medical service in the area to get in touch with me (via PM), please. Thanks.

...all seems fairly quiet on the .org these days. I look in but see little contentious or fally-outy stuff to stick me oar into. Mostly local and domestic matters.... of course I'm not qualified to comment on the former and try to have as little as possible to do with the latter. It must be the Christmas spirit. Long may it prevail....well , for a month at least.... I hope it's not long...

Been down here in Lancashire for a bit and took a trip over to St Annes on the Sea and parked up in a disabled space, making sure my blue 'Highland Council' issued Blue Badge was in the correct position (I also get Road Tax exemption, so 'Disabled' is on the tax disk). we come back to the car half an hour later and find a ' Penalty Charge Notice' stuck on the windscreen - some useless "I can't do...

I live in gillock and the road out here is pure black ice about 1 inch thick. I phoned the police early this morning to iform them and they said they would tell the road people. Still no-one to be seen!! No idea what the main roads are like but the road here is an accident waiting to happen - I could not even stand on it without slipping!

I am a dab hand at making a good chillie and thought I would knock one up for dinner tonight. We have a very large oval enamael oven dish that I like to fill and freeze whats left over and it holds about 12 portions. I use a sachet of Swartz mix and a sachet of Colemans and I have done it so many times now that it always seem to come out just spot on. Anyway, I got all the ...

Im sure this topic has been done to death on the Org in the past, but not recently. And a few orgers have suggested bringing it back on the current battered baby thread. I would say never. I think its impossible to have the death penalty in a civilised society. If one innocent person were put to death it would be one too many. Some US states still have the death penalty. ...

Well that got your attention. The reason for the unusual title was to get you to open this post. To have opened this post you must like nudes, skydiving or others having embarrassing accidents.....OR you read every single post, no matter what. Now you are here can you just let me know how you post a thread title when you start the thread. The reason I ask is that I was off the Org ...

No advice, cos know I would fail the theory test miserably, and no chance of ever passing a driving test again. Have been driving since I was 17, as long as you could reverse round a corner without taking a pedestian with you and read a number plate two feet away they deemed you roadworthy. you could always try giving some of that wine to the examiner cloud his judgement slightly
