I just changed the tranny fluid on my 93 STS and refilled with about 7.5 quarts, when fully warm the fluid was on the very top of the crosshatch marks on the dipstick after a test drive. After letting it cool and sit overnight I couldn't even see any oil in the fill hole. I immediately looked under the car fearing a gigantic mess, but nothing. Thanks Submariner. Think you may be right. I realized today that when I reset the light it stays off until I get gas. As soon as I leave the gas station it comes on again. I drove about 95 miles today and the light never came on. I'll pickup a new cap tomorrow. That's a cheap fix. Thanks again.

Got a 95 STS. Sometimes it will not start. Most of the time it will. This been going on for a year now. No loud clicking or anything. Turned the key, full power coming from the battery, dashboard system monitored OK. I tried starting in neutral, it wouldn't. Tried wiggling the shifter back and forth to no avail. Checked the codes, nothing current or no history. Checked battery connections...

The cost of a few qts. of oil is FAR less than the cost of the repair. Live with it and add a qt. now and then.

from the pros. I am looking at a 99 Seville STS and it is a one owner car that has 48k miles. The car is beautiful and seems to be very well cared for. It was a local trade and was serviced at the dealership that has it. They have all service records for the car. I will be trading even for a 2004 Honda Civic with 41k miles. I picked up a slightly used Kaixen 9006 HID kit last night. Gonna snap some pictures in a bit. Bulb temperature is 5000k, and the amount of light it emits is AMAZING! Cadillac should have added HIDs to Eldorados when Lincoln did to the Mark VIII!

I have a C1727 that has been coming up for a few months now that sets off "sevice ride control" . i believe its a right rear damper problem. about 2 years ago i changed it all to arrnott including compressor and all has been well.
