CADDYFAT ..... check it out on my cardomain page. Its got all the "HOW TO" on the DRL as well as everything else. Just sending you there since its a lot of info and its already up. Just remember...You will lose your fog lights... but there are still ways around that. You just have to run a wire harness for foglights to them and your good. Im sure painting the inside of the headlight housing kills the DRL and Parking light......

Lol Yea I remember paying 3.90 a gallon for 93 octane fuel.....so much better at 2.90 now!!!

Only 2 screws on my EXT tail lights. Take those out and wiggle it out. Not sure on the Escalade, but it should be much different.

I'm not sure about the warranty. There are several people on the forum here trying to retro fit the Nav in their 07's. There seems to be some issues with getting the correct part number for the unit and the antenna.

you have no screen, therefor you would not need dvd video. You can however, Burn lots and lots of music onto a DVD CD ROM and it will play fine in your player. hope that helps.

YOU NEED DVDs, you can convert your youtube videos on vixy.net into a format of your choice.... I find watching anything on the screen pointless.... doesn't work while driving, drains battery while parked! Just pisses me off....

I live in Salt lake city, utah and I have an 08 lade with stock 22s and It handles like a champ in the snow. I think the AWD really helps.

I bought my ESV last year in nov for 32,000 with 40K on it. It has everything except rear dvd. It has heated and cool seats, nav, 18" wheels which I love for the ride. Rear camara, AWD etc....
I would try to give him 27K considering it is a base model and the resale will not be worth as much. Also mine has a 6 yr/100K warranty.

I guess the 8 billion they got from our tax money didn't go to making parts..... maybe they can change the back out with the front.....i can't imagine they making different parts for different seats!! ANd ofcourse you can demand them to change out the complete seat...they can take it out of an un solded new verhicle (and they should have a LOT full of them) exchange the part and issue a ...

My original battery went dead this past summer while the dvd was playing for 30mins. Got a jump and took the 5hr drive back home. Next day the battery was dead. Took it to the dealer and the replacement battery has been problem free. Your replacement is most likely defective(bad cell).
When your at the detail shop you can cut off the interior lights - switch is above the dimmer knob.

Mine after six months went dead.
Every thirty days I travel for ten days, when I come back the battery is always dead.
I got a Solar panel Trickel charger to keep my battery charged each time I park it.
And I will get the optional battery cable for a second battery.
Cause I hate to jumpstart a Luxury Cadillac SUV, it doesn't look right , does it.

I dont see anything different than my regular ESV except mine is Black, It has the same grill and inside is the same. The only think I see I would talk them donw on is the cover for the 12v plug on the rear controls is broken and missing. I would have this replaced. I think the owner just listed it that way to get my views. I dont think he really thinks it is a platinum esv

If the boat is 8500 lbs without fluids and without trailer I would tow it with something else I pull a 7000 lb loaded trailer but have electric trailer brakes on all 6 wheels and have Baer big brakes on the truck, but your 8500 lb boat with trailer and fluids will be over 10000 lbs, just too much weight

Are they going to vinyl dye the handles, etc on the roof or do you like the two tone? Very nice stuff, I never understood how they can charge the same for 4 wheels for one billet grille.
