Cat-back parts?

"Short trips around town." That may be the problem. Dump some 93 octane in it, head for the boonies and do a few WOT's. Go up to Cadillac Technical Archive in the black bar ^^^ and read the entire thing, especially "Occasional full throttle operation is good for your engine". Northstars hate to run slow and cold. A CORSA for your car is $1185, shipped, from AutoPartsWarehouse.

STRANGE STARTING PROBLEM please...

Last time it would only click I pulled off the intake manifold again to ohm out the cable to the starter. It was 0.6ohms. I cleaned the connections on the battery then too and they are still shiny. Doesnt seem like that reading would be limiting current to the starter but Im not sure what the spec is on that.

You can get wheels like that with BLACK center caps but it is extremely difficult to find them with the chrome center caps like the Fleetwoods had.

Analog issues 2001 DTS
Published (2009-12-08 17:30:00)
i had that issue a couple times when i had my car sitting for a week. my gas and fuel gauge not functioning, was always intermittent. next start they would start working. however my service lights were a bad IPC ground. i found this out by taking it to the dealer for them to trace the ground. it was a body ground. dont know where it is tho, but it is near the driver side because that is where the IPC is hope it helps you Last edited by...

rebuilt tranny
Published (2009-12-04 19:31:00)
I've had 2 trannys done by AAMCO, with much the same results. Except I had the infamous A604 auto 4 speed Chrysler transmission. A trans so bad, Chrysler themselves told me they had had catastrophic failures of that trans after as little as 1200 miles! After the 3rd time this trans needed a rebuild (3rd in 1 1/2 years, mind you) I found a good honest trans man who told me the problems inherent in AAMCO and how he'd been doing their...

Try jumping the terminal on the solenoid with a screwdriver. If it engages then the problem is not the starter, most probably the ignition switch.
If it doesn't engage, have someone turn the switch to START and test the voltage at the starter (or hook up a test light) to see if you're getting any juice to the solenoid from the ignition switch.

205-215 are normal operating temperatures. If you normally run at 195 then maybe the stat stuck.

Open the rear compartment lid, push on the right side of lamp housing and pull down. The housing assembly will come out and the lamp can be removed. Not sure on your 2003, but my 2005 used the PC194 lamp. I couldn't locate it locally and had to purchase a PC adaptor.

4.9 pushrod engine, throttlebody injection, right ?? (Update your profile.....)
Sounds like the cold weather enrichment signal (the electronic "choke") is incorrect. Does your car have an ambient air temperature sensor somewhere near the front of the radiator and is it functioning? ..............maybe the intake air charge temp sensor.......

The green plug is probably a test connector for something. Pic #2 looks like the ELC compressor and the sound you hear is probably the system venting at shutdown. As far as I know, the only accumulator I have ever been aware of was just the vacuum stored in the vacuum reservoir which would give you one or two power assisted brake applications in the event of an engine stall....

I found an image of the parts that I need.
It is either part number 5 or 6 as I have not determined which one is leaking.
I need the part number for those please.
Thanks

Remove this ad What would cause a PO300 code. I am getting severe misfires on cylinders 3 and 7. What would cause that? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This has been covered on here many times. You need to be using the AC Delco 41-987 plugs they come pre-gapped to .050 using any other plug will often cause misfires or drive-ability issues. They are not cheap expect to pay $6-$8 each.
Ignore the U1000 code the U codes come and go like the tide.
The B0429 code is being caused by the HVAC actuator that supply's air to the rear seat ...
