Probably a different IP scope, that's all, everything else is as it was before. Same card, same node, same everything, apart from that he has a new IP address in a different address range.

Your power levels look healthy. It would help if you visited the newsgroups to ask if you're on an overloaded CMTS.

Had mine done yesterday. Took about an hour, but much of that was bloke on the phone to VM to get the 50 switched on. All happened totally flawlessly, and http://www.speedtest.net/ with London selected gives me just over 50Mbps.
Bloke didn't install the router, left me to do it. No issues. Checked router firmware, and was already up to date.
I'm running with Windows 7 32 bit. All no...

Very frustrating I'm sure but to be fair it may not be a server problem. No doubt one f the lads who actually works at VM will answer this for you. No doubt you will be back on to CS for a reasonable reduction in your next bill, I know I would.

Earlier today, a problem manifested itself earlier where my internet connection became extremely sporadic.
I am unable to ping any server, and am also unable to ssh into my own server in London.
First call, I was cut off.
The first tech support person cut me off when I told him that while my web browsing was working.
The second tech (Sachin) didn't seem to understand that my issue was...

Don't throw another completely different issue into the mix please and don't suggest the issues are connected, as myself and others have mentioned there are many different issues present in that thread and none of them, including yourself, have posted any evidence matching the above symptoms.

Probably when pigs fly - never.
We see promises of upload increases and never see them. In fact around Christmas last year I got an anonymous tip-off that all upload speeds were to double. That's not happened yet either. Could have been a rumor but who knows?
