50 Best Film Deaths
Published (2009-12-14 22:51:00)
The one that sticks in my mind are two from 'I Spit on your grave' (the film is about a woman who is raped by 3 guys who leave her for dead, several years later she goes back to the site, she has rebuilt her life and changed her appearance and bumps in to the guys and gets her revenge.) 1. The guy who swim naked resting on the back of an out board motor, when she suddenly start the motor removing his little friend. 2. the same woman...

Surely just being nominated is a winner in it's self? All of them deserved to ultimate prize and it's a shame that there can only be one. Having said that speaking purely neutrally as someone who supports no sports I have to say that Giggs has been around for a long time at the top of his profession and I'm surprised he's never won this award before..

One death scene that isn't on the list but certainly should be is James Cagney's superb death in "The Roaring Twenties". After a truly memorable death on the town hall steps he lay in the sobbing arms of his sweetheart, then a stranger stops and asks her who this guy is? Its then she replies with the immortal line...."He used to be a big shot". Classic.
