BB XL costs £9 less than it did in Feb 2007 Also the Triple XL bundle didn't exist in Feb 2007 either, so the VIP bundle was the only way to get everything in it for under £100 a month Personally I do understand the comments about the VIP not being *as* good as it used to be.

All SD channels will be upscaled if you have an HD telly, and you can watch several HD channels(if on XL TV pack) as well as VOD, and of course record 2 channels while watching a third, so i think it's worth it.

When I worked for BT ( not the same I know) there were rules on installing services to properties,most of them such as water,gas and electricity have to conform to them they have to be at least 18 inches deep and if they were cables,protected by being in a duct, such was the case with BT ...whether that applies to Virgin I wouldn't know, but would imagine it does ... I cut my own cable a year or so back,when digging the garden, they...

The cut might have shorted out one of the components in the cab relating to your TV signal?? The repair will probably be the standard £99 callout (though was the cable protected? If not then you might get away with a free repair as the original install was dodgy)
