Why bash OpenGL? What issues?! It's a specification! Is this another bash-the-implementation-because-it's-not-C++ topics?

No... Linux runs fine, but I got my money back for the PC anyways, so now I'm getting a new one ^^ 2xNvidia Geforce 9800 SLI, Core2Quad Q6600 ~2.6GHz, 4GB RAM and only 1000DKK to add ^^ Anyways, I havn't really looked that much at OpenGL :P Not API programming at all, so I guess my judgement came from the DirectX publicity and all that, so it's officially invalid

Wait, the GL3.0 API is not actually the object-based API we were promised just a few months before the spec release? Wow. No wonder people complain.

Why do you want to go to a 64-bit OS anyways? Do you have more than 4GB of RAM?

I would say that PC are cheaper for what they offer. The thing is that a PC might offer more than you want since it is built for general purpose and not for gaming only.

I'm trying to use batch to set an environment variable I use the command prompt a lot sometimes, and cygwin often, but often just the command prompt, so I am wondering how I might perform this task: add the current directory into the PATH environment variables In cygwin/bash, I can say PATH=$PATH;$($echo pwd) or something But in cmd I don't know what to do. I know that 'cd' ...

Aside from this being a bit of n00bish question, it is as you may have guessed, a batch problem. Either I don't know enough, or I don't the syntax. When I write a file and compile it into a .bat file, it does open and stay in place, but when I press enter it closes. It is supposed to ask a question. I put in an if statement. So basically it asks your age, and if it's less than 18 it says "not old...

I'm having an issue with my computer where it will work for between 20 minutes and several hours, and then without warning, it will stop receiving data from the network. the computer is running Windows XP x64, and is joined to an AD domain, where my user is a local admin on this PC, but not on the domain. My previous PC had the exact same problem, which is the main reason why I got this new one...

Anyway, Thinking of upgrading my rig soon. Mainly for casual GTA IV and Americas Army 3. Is it a good idea to wait for DX11, which is scheduled to come out the same time as Windows 7? Currently I have a 8600GT (256mb), and a AMD 3800+ X2. I don't play that many games, but I don't know :'(

A friend's computer got infected with XP Antivirus 2008 last year, after looking up on how to remove it, none of the registry keys or system-looking files that all the pages kept telling me to remove where there. Except for one class ID that would reappear every time the system started. To fix this problem, I made a "vundo patch" program that would remove it after startup, this prevented it from ...

If a page does not have header and body element, in the RFC standard, we should treat the information as header or as body? - I tested with IE and IE treats as body; - I read from Http 1.1 RFC, but found not covering this topic. Any insights? I give a sample here. Code: <html> Hello, the information here should be belong to header or body? </html>

I am trying to find a command to strip out comments in C++ source files. I suspect it would be sed, but I don't know how to use it yet and don't have time to learn it right now. Any sed wizard care to spare a few seconds? I need to strip out both "//" and "/* ... */" style comments. If possible, "#if 0/#endif" ones, too. Thanks
