The Mac (before it lets you choose between OS X and Windows? Or Windows after you selected that to boot into. If the last, how far does Windows come? And do you happen to know more details about "needed something"? Kees

If Outlook has any add-ins installed, try disabling them. That includes an Avast email scanner add-in if there is one. Outlook > Tools > Options > Other tab > Advanced Options button But if the problem is the Avast email scanner you will need to take extra care with incoming and outgoing emails, as they will not be scanned. I took the easy way out and downloaded a third party program which worked. From everything I read you cannot get Outlook Express to change to English.

Microsoft no longer sells the program, I looked on line, on eBay, etc. and have not found it. I found something called Spell Check Anywhere from a third party. Worth buying? As for upgrading that is a costly option ......

OE uses the Word spell checker, so open up Word, Tools > Options, then check through that you have the right dictionary listed. If I remember rightly, (I don't have Office on the machine I am using now), if Word doesn't have the right dictionary it might be on the Office CD. Mark

I'm not sure what your setup is, a Mac with a separate partition with Windows installed? If so, which Windows? Cam you still access the Mac partition and OS? If not, I will have to pass and I would suggest you re-post in one of CNET's dedicated Mac forums; http://forums.cnet.com/mac-forums/ If you can still access the Mac OS but not the Windows OS, try rebooting into Windows' ...

If you have your ruler displaying at the top of the document, you may be able to drag the tab marker to the left. If that doesn't work, check the Bullet Point options, somewhere in the ribbon menu. Mark

But you can sort on start date. So if you fill the start date with the creation date you're done. Just right click on the bar with the field names and go ahead. Kees
