that's the first in this thread, you'll note it is about using a browser and a poker program also. Using UDP for those doesn't seem a good solution. Kees

This is a legal issue which should be resolved between the parties involved and not a group of random individuals whose only observation will be through the words of another person that is not themselves directly involved with the original fiasco.

did the job! I finally went to the store and bought a new cable the one connecting the wall internet jack to the computer. I don't know what gave me the idea, but I remembered telling the "landlord" that the plug was frayed (wires jutting out). It was patched up. The bought cable did the job...and I was able to undo a lot of what I had done. I also wanted to ask if them at the store if they knew someone who could look to see if...

3D glasses confusion
Published (2009-11-06 23:39:00)
The shutter glasses are only going to work with 3D movies coded to signal to them. It is quite the timing trick to have alternate eyes "enabled" (where the shutter is essentially open) at the correct frame time. While the TV may be displaying a 60 fps (frames per second) picture, one eye is just seeing 30 frames, and the other eye is seeing 30 frames too, but alternating frames. Not too long ago, TVs were just 30 fps pictures (and...

Thank you! You were very helpful. I knew some of what you said , but what I knew was vague, and your help really cleared up alot, especially about the polorized glasses. Anyway, you mentioned what gear I might have already. We have a Samsung LCD hdtv(not 3D ready). We have a Blu-ray disc player. We have anaglyph glasses; The red/blue are plastic, and the red/green are paper. The red/green paper seem to work better than the red/blue plastic....

And never the same thing. It can be your PC, the TV or just what you see when playing internet video. What I think will be interesting is how people will pay or how much they will pay for tech support on this one. That is, this issue is not unknown but the cures are all over the map and not repeating.

I don't know if you've got ATI or nVidia control center installed, but that's the software you'll need. I'm fairly sure there will be an option to extend your desktop somewhere in that software. Note, you'll need a reasonably powerful GPU to run dual displays well at high resolutions.

There are different types. Most common and cheapest one people use is CDR which you basically cannot modify or rewrite over existing file. If you want one that you can format, buy the CDR-W type.

They both have limited functions until paid for. Another thing is that each file should have had an md5 sum to verify the files. Use an archiver such as 7zip to view the files. There are open source versions of the unrar and rar packagers to use. The "stuppid" problem is not one at all, it's a software limit and an incomplete software download.

This can probably be understandable if, perhaps, English is not your first language, but you really ought to read that back to yourself and see if it makes sense. Under normal TV viewing to the PC via a std. broadcast the TV format is being used and your PC has to convert or intervene at the PC for its output via the tuner, etc. for viewing. So, alot is going on to get it to be viewed and heard. While under the YouTube setup, that's all been done and it more for a PC rather than a TV setup. I'm sure others may explain better but that's it in ...
