In short you install the printer then share it to the LAN. Done. Repeat for each printer.

Unfortunately, you've not told us the operating system you're using but on Windows XP, open the Control Panel, then the "Accessibility Options" icon and explore the various settings you may have adjusted. (Maybe "Sticky Keys".) Hope this helps. Grif

While this is a great place to get support, are there support options that came with the Software you purchased? #samsung_links a { text-decoration:none; font-family:arial,helvetica; font-size:13px; } #samsung_sign { border-top:2px dotted #666666; padding-top:5px; margin-top:15px; margin-right:15px; } #samsung_links { margin:3px; }

I'd concur, and actually suggest a bit of an alternative. Get a respectable desktop system. Something that can probably last for 2 years, maybe 3 with some upgrades later on. Then get yourself a netbook and use it to control your desktop back in the dorm/frat/apartment. So all you have with you on campus is a simple lightweight netbook, but it's good enough to be able to log into your main computer and let you do some coding,...

That's why I deleted your post. You may, of course, repost your question, but without any links to (indeed, without any mention of) your site please. Just an anonymous question, so to speak. Kees

Was it some software you installed? If so, I would be very cautious. My own general rule is, why update drivers if everything seems to be working well? I follow that myself and have had no problems. Security Updates. I assume you mean Windows updates? If so, they should have installed, and should not be removed. Mark

Solution 2 - Do not know where/how to change the CDROM slave to IDE Hard drive. Am ready to take a break on trials and pick-up next weekend. If this helps to troubleshoot - When the computer starts, I get a message that - "CREATECD50.EXE file is linked to missing export...

Do what Bob said, that's what I was getting at and it's an awesome solution. I had to do the same thing a year ago on my own computer because a trojan killed it. If safe mode doesn't work get a new hard drive or a used one from somewhere, wipe it clean and daisy chain those bad boys. There are tons and tons of forums and article about how to do that. In the future I recommend Super Anti Spyware, it is amazing. But like I said,...

I can't tell by your description if you just need to adjust your mouse settings (easy, see here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/per sonalize/mouse.mspx ) or if it is something more. Start there and report back.

Many pgms. refer to a "default" drive as being the "C" drive or main/root drive. Whether it be a physical C drive or logical(partition) of multiple partitions of a single HD. Sometimes it is also called the "boot" drive, but it boils down that the "C" drive is the default HD that s/w setup to place whatever data if no effort to place elsewhere -OR- it accepts only that. In some cases ...

This confused many but we never installed a driver for CD/DVD drives. We would install CD/DVD burning software or applications to use said drive. So go over your Windows 98 install notes one more time. Mine are generic and read like this: a. Windows 98 installed (just the MSFT CD). b. Motherboard drivers. c. Audio drivers. d. Video drivers. e. Ethernet and network drivers. f. ...

After that, did you go get the drivers for motherboard, audio and video? Or did you hope Microsoft did it for you? If you hoped, then go back and do this the old fashioned way. It may help. Bob

That's a losing battle, since new porn sites are popping up pretty much daily. You will NEVER be able to block them all, and trying is pretty much pointless. For what it's worth, I tend to think you'll have much better luck if you just accept that sooner or later your kids are going to find porn on the Internet if that's what they set out to do. So rather than denying this ...

But let's try simple things. Unplug all network and usb connections and one more time. Also any memory card (SD, compact flash, PC-Card, PCMCIA) and retry them all. Sorry I can't be more specific. I read your post twice to see what machine this was. Bob

Go to www.crucial.com and input the specs for each computer. If the RAM recommended matches, then the swap will work. If the same type is listed but the speed is different, then the RAM may swap but will run at the slower speed.
