ah yes, the software is called 'GNC' I have been advised tht I may be better off using something like 'Mach3' would that just tke oer the running of the machine?

Depends what type of drives you have, if analogue not step/dir then you would need to replace the drives. Al.

Your English is better than many people in Canada. I am familiar with Kessler (used in our DMG macines). I also find that their prices are extremely high. I have disassembled one spindle for bearing replacement, and the spindle repair company that I use also repaired one for me. Let me say this, these spindles are badly designed. For the money they want, it's robbery. They claim that 18000-r is possible. It is, but for less than 5...

First post here and it's not for good. I own a Weeke optimat bp 140 and i'm having a problem . When i start my machine the woodwop isnt opening and i receive a "no connection to control" message . Checked the serial port and the cable , it's ok . My controller is num 1040 . Any suggestions ? Any thoughts ? Thanks in advance . My email is g_goulas@iscal.gr . I recently bought a second hand lightly used cnc plasma cutter.
I have found it to have erratic line drawing behaviour and this morning while operating a dry run the machine went booloo.
