The screw is staked in from the other side.. you'll have to grind the screw off, then it will unscrew.. you can get a replacement screw from e-gunparts or Sarco.

Mine came dry and needed to be properly lubed. That is all I did besides putting
tung oil on the stock.

7.62 X 51 for extensive testing with some resulting reliability issues....I am uncertain the quantity. There is at least one gunsmith in West Texas that also does this conversion I have also seen 03's and 03A3's so converted from this Gunsmith)...my brother had a CMP SA ...

Does your brass show a bulge at the point where the dent is? If not I would think your fine.If it does,and you dont reload,you likely are still fine.The brass just had a real
short life.I wouldnt reload bulged brass myself.
