I will say one thing, the 675 is a lot easier to wheelie than my ZX6 was. Think its due to the more torquer motor and the bike being so light. Can hold it from 1st through to 3rd gear.

30:1 is a good safe mix. From my calcs the BWS have quite a heavy mix. I'm sitting on about 23:1 which is heavy in my book. -------------------- If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Hi Thomas - have you found a bike yet? I saw this clean looking K11RS on PH and thought it might be of interest. Perhaps you could pick it up if you're still doing your Cambridge hops. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/790330.htm

If it were me, I'd rather run a premix synthetic at 40/50:1. You must be getting lots of oiling up on an autolube injecting at between 15/20:1 -------------------- BMW Power Ranger Git

I still usually put in about 500ml of 2 stroke for every 2 or so tanks. I spent last sat cleaning things up, carb was a bit dirty, clean greened it nicely to see if there are any leaks (which it doesnt seem there are). now using the shell 2 stroke, was on special at autozone so giving it a whirl, usually use the BP stuff. havent bothered trying the synth stuff, infact havent even seen it anywhere apart from yamaha themselves.....

Are you still getting a bottle of 2 stroke to 2 tanks of fuel? I am managing 3 tanks of fuel(+-3.5 litres) to a litre of 2 stroke. -------------------- If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

I have decided that the exhaust sound of the standard pipe of my Triumph Daytona 675 is putting me to sleep. So I took the pipe to a specialised exhaust place to have it modified. What they are offering is to open the canister, de-frabicate and play around with the baffles. This is a better plan than buying a sport system for R?K and then still sitting with the original and eventually throwing ...

Talk to me about these. K100RT/K100RS. Mid-life crisis is here, and it looks like getting bike will be my way of dealing with said crisis. The BMW K series are cheap as chips, and a number of decent ones on offer for very reasonable prices. I'm thinking that if the BM works and lasts for the coppers, it should work for me too. Intended purpose is commuting now and then, and use on weekends...

As recommended by a couple people on the Wild Dogs forum, my mate dropped my KTM off at these guys just over a week ago. Front fork seals needed to be done, and a service. Also asked to check out the Tacho, as it doesn't work. Got the bike back Friday, and it looks absolutely amazing. I've never seen the bike so clean, and I'm fairly anal about washing it. I'm guessing it was treated with a ...
