I am interested in getting a set of the Daytona Race seats for my 08 zo6 and had a few questions. If anyone has these seats or some info on them. Do they have the factory side air bags? Do the heated seats still work? And is the seat a full racing shell or is it more like the stock seat beefed up a bit? Thanks ADAM...

Hey guy's just wondering what you have on your vett for personal plate. I have my initial right now but a new law is out only one plate for the rear so we can take off that ridiculas front plate... i have a plate that i am not using, that was off my s2000 it is CATCHME the only probleme the F@*^k police keep stopping me because of it!!!! ...

I hit this brand new road today (freshly paved but dry) and the tires were making a sound that almost sounded like a musical instrument. Once I hit an older part of the road, the sound went away. Anyone had that happen? Its a 2008 Z06 with 2100 miles on it.

I can honestly say, that without a doubt, the biggest problem I have with this car has got to how unreliable the new trans really is. Furthermore, I haven't really seen a effort to remedy the issue from the factory and/or there are NO REAL parts available that you can swap in to deal with this trans. It's at a remote airstrip where you get to run flat out for one mile and have about another mile to stop, so you get to test top end speed. One car at a time runs. My '06 Z06 has about 6K miles and has been babied (also black with OEM black powder coated wheels). You are wise to get the warranty. I don't think any of those work items are any big deal...the oil pan is a little odd, but not particularly scary. Can you make sure that it is all stock, no tunes, etc.? What is left on the tires?
