wore the suspenders for two short climbs. If they don't work well tomorrow I'll be sending them back not worth the money right now. They are damn uncomfortable. They chafe the neck really bad.

TreeBuzz Board: Ergovation
Published (2009-12-01 13:59:00)
Ive had my ergo since march. Ive had the benefit of having it tweeked and adjusted specifically for me since the get go. Since then I have adjusted very little except to play with different techniques(climbing and positioning). In providence I switched the leg pads for the rigid pads as leg pinch has been a problem with every saddle I have ever owned. The rigids work great and I certianly recommend them. As stated before in this thread,...

So I just got my cougar today from wesspur and its my first saddle with a rope bridge. I have a nice new hitchclimber setup as well and was wondering can I clip my biner right onto the rope bridge? or do I have to get another pulley to put on the bridge? Also whats the general consensus with adjusting the leg straps? Thanks guys!

Biner is on the bridge. You might think about adding a ring to the bridge to orient your system.

Published (2009-12-03 08:28:00)
This thread might be dead, but I have to ask, as a UK boot buyer (twice now), if there are ANY boots out there that last more than 2 years. I know it's a lot to ask, and as long as I'm asking, the boots must have the following features for consideration: -Chainsaw protective -Waterproof, yet breathable -Steel shank midsole -Steel toe cap If there was a boot that incorporated all of these features and lasts more than 2-2.5 years,...

Wow! That's interesting. I haven't had any problems at all so far. I'm a bit heavier than you and I've used the Cinch quite a bit now. But that is troubling, how much had you used the Cinch before it stripped?. My first though is that since it did it with two different handles that maybe the problem is really on the shaft the handle attaches to????

The rubber rings on the bridge are to stop your karabiners from going over that clevis. You can't reach the gear loops on the back? i use those ones on my sequoia all the time, just know the feel of your gear.

I'm happy to hear you like it so much. How about the chain saw attachment ring? Does it hold the weight well? Balanced? This VERY nice looking saddle is on sale for 470 at Sherrill. I have seen it up close and worn it as well. Although the one I tried was a Large and Not even close to being fitted for me, I decided to order one. It looks to have all of the things I was looking for in "...

Naw, that's what the Big Shot's for, get it the first time. Haven't tried the new head yet, prolly takes some getting used to, but you'll get it right with practice.

I had one like that but it wasn't a marvin. Same thing broke on mine and ended up getting regular fiberglass 6' poles because I couldn't find the twister part. Did you try to e-mail or call them directly, that might be the best bet on specific parts like the twister.
