probably the same amount as my 88 oldsmobile. mine takes 4 1/2 quarts with a new filter.

I'd try 7, if it complains, put another 1 or 2 in.

The service manual says 4 quarts without the filter and 5 with the filter change. But after adding the oil, run it for a minute or two to fill the filter, then check again and add any additional to bring it to the full mark on the dipstick. Then write down the total it took for future reference.

On the road course or any track with twists and turns, I would bet that the Mitsu would be faster, assuming both drivers are of the same skill level. It weighs a little less, and has a sportier suspension. In a straight line I believe the 2nd gen. 3KGT's that were non- VR4 edition, did 0-60 mph in about 7.5-8 seconds depending on transmission.
