I think you included every pointless bit of information except for the ONLY ONE THAT MATTERS: Put it on a track, and get official time slips. Whoever wins, wins. Because the point you left out IS THE DRIVER. Let's say you have a 1,000 hp car, with all the great specs in the world. Then the driver mis-shifts, and blows the trans. And loses to a 200hp Honda. Guess what? Honda wins. You also forgot track conditions, tires, weather, reaction...

The service manual says 4 quarts without the filter and 5 with the filter change. But after adding the oil, run it for a minute or two to fill the filter, then check again and add any additional to bring it to the full mark on the dipstick. Then write down the total it took for future reference.

On the road course or any track with twists and turns, I would bet that the Mitsu would be faster, assuming both drivers are of the same skill level. It weighs a little less, and has a sportier suspension. In a straight line I believe the 2nd gen. 3KGT's that were non- VR4 edition, did 0-60 mph in about 7.5-8 seconds depending on transmission. So that would be a fairly close race, but, just as a pure guess, I would guess the Mitsu would...

ABS Scanner for 1995 Riviera?

I need to scan my 1995 Buick Riviera ABS to determine cause of loss of traction control. What ABS scanner will fit this car? It has the OBDII Data Link Connector.

I'm a classic Corvette owner and there's lots of stuff that's available for them.
Looking at these cars, there's a lot of commonality in the parts bin.
You might try looking at a parts interchange manual for some of the more popular classic GM cars. Body panels, trim, and interior are going to be different but I imagine a lot of other stuff would match up.

Start with checking the air filter.
If that is clean you might have a fuel supply problem. Check fuel filter, fuel pump.
And if all that is fine, you need to check the head gasket for a leak.

I am wondering if a speed sensor is not working properly. Just a thought. I believe the computer takes input from the speed sensor for shifting the gears at low speeds.
