In reply to a post by chrisparr : You should have had a reply by now, I was advised that the CSC were responding to issues a lot quicker than you have seen. I'll get the delay raised with the CSC management to make sure noone else is affected by older tickets. the ticket number is ID: 30874189 and still no reply, its now five days without an update! incidentally, there now seems to be a problem with My Account, had to refresh Firefox...

In reply to a post by colbrad : Chris since doing as had been suggested to Hamba I've not had any connection problems or delayed downloading of email, however not really been online much since the clean up of my Webmail Inbox so I'm going to allow it to fill up naturally to see if the problems reoccurs, for peace of mind it would be good to know that that was the cause of the problem, that way something could be done to...

Yes that will fix it. /private/etc/hosts on a Mac, I believe. But who will ever remember to remove the entry in due course? And how will they know? Ever so much easier if Plus.Net / MaaF simply fixed the routing loop and the DNS lookup. Enceladus

In reply to a post by Apprentice : I'm aware the router is stopping the threats...i'm not particularly worried about them except for the fact they all originate from Turk Telekom. I'm trying to ascertain what is triggering the attacks. If it is just random scans, surely others on the MAAF network would be affected too? Perhaps might be worth asking on the SRI forum N.B. In reply to a post by Ianscarboro : MaaF used to have a decent attitude to assisting their customers, but the ticket I raised earlier this month about the dramatic fall-off of internet connection speed after each of several Windows Vista updates has plumbed new depths.
Can someone from MaaF please let me know how the suggested link may assist?
