I recently jumped ship myself. The actual service was great but simply trying to change from CCA to DD resulted in months of inane interaction. At least, whilst thy were unable to sort "their" problem out, I was not paying them.

Be's T&Cs used to specifically mention 5.5kms. Not checked if it still does.
As you already have ADSL and could presumably produce line stats to support your existing synch & margin
eg http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/frogstats.php
You could try o2's online system to see if that will accept you but they have the same 5.5kms limit, they just never publicised it.
Otherwise ...

In reply to a post by cgk : Is there a problem with the official be forum? I'm unable to access it for most of any given day and this has persisted for over a week. It's been fine for me - I've actually used it quite a bit this week. It was fine this morning. What's problem are you experiencing?

The IP address ranges should be different. If you have a static IP with Be then it won't work on the O2 network and so internet access will not be available. If it is dynamic then you should be able to tell the change has been made as the IP address will change.

No, they don't traffic shape or port throttle barring Port 25 is blocked for outgoing SMTP unless you have a static IP address. For most the block is irrelevant as their mail hosts listen on alternative ports as well.
150GB per month I would guess could be average or below! Well, probably not, but I expect you will get the point. It is not big by Be standards.

In reply to a post by zrerz : Does anyone know if the service on Be can use both an Xbox and PS3 games consoles both running at the same time?
Reason I ask, is that I'm currently with Zen, superb service, but keep hiting downloads limits as both my son and I use the games consoles to download the movies on offer, plus online gaming must have no connections nor NAT issiues.
