There are three songs in IMDb's soundtrack listing. I've ruled out Black Lace's The Gang Bang (I remember that scene!), so House of Fun by Madness and a Bananarama song I've never heard of called
More Than Physical are the other possibilities - assuming these were the only other songs featured.
I've found the video on YouTube. Is this the one?:

First time posting here. I've read all of the above with interest and lets hope for a re-issue. Intermittently I've been checking ebay and I saw this - anybody know the origins. I can't find anything else about it from the net.

Great news, I have the LP of
Maigret, will be nice to hear it without scratches and the extras are most welcome. Have just ordered, you can't go against the Grainer!

Thanks for that, Nick, I think I will get this. I remember being disappointed when the films first came out because they didn't use the famous
TV theme, but now the Lockyer and McGuffie music has fond (albeit cheesy!) memories.
Incidentally, I believe Bill McGuffie was primarily a pianist, even though he had several fingers missing!

I still have both of these on vinyl (Polydor). The Bicyclettes soundtrack was paired with Twisted Nerve
then.
Essential stuff.
