I'm too lazy to look it up, and I didn't see it, but wasn't there a TV movie where Angela Lansbury played Mrs. Clause with songs, I think, by Jerry Herman?

Careful Bernie, you wouldn't want to offend other religions by adding Christ, or putting up town centre decorations that include a manger. And while we're at it how come you lot never empty the cardboard bit of my recycling? I know all boxes are supposed to be flat-packed but surely if the box is full and I put flat-packed boxes into another box and place that on top it's not going to kill anybody is it? That pretty much sums it up. It's a Disney historical about a cat filmed at Pinewood and on location in Scotland. It was on tv recently - I thought it was quite pleasant but from IMDB comments it seems to be one of those films that makes a huge impression on people who see it at the right age.

David, who was my next-door neighbour in Kew for many years, retired from acting in the nineties, having developed a successful career as a psychotherapist, which he found more interesting than acting.
I used to look after his cat while he was away filming, including for the Fawlty Towers episode!
