QUOTE (werewolf45auto @ Sep 6 2009, 02:32 PM) I have read so much on here I'm only more confused. I'll be shooting Open and I don't think I can get the Saiga in CA. I like the benelli but the cost is pretty high and I have heard they kick pretty good. I'm leaning towards the 1100 because of parts and less kick. I really like the FN-SLP but I have yet to find speed loading parts. I ...

The red follower should go in the hole in the end of the extension tube and either use the factory follower or get another follower. I prefer the Nordic teflon coated follower. I also prefer to use Nordic mag tube springs but any extended spring will work. Cut it so that it is 10" longer than the end of the tube.

I would guess I removed about a 1/2" to 5/8"? I used a belt sander to radius the tip then finished with fine sandpaper. I also had to narrow it to fit a 20 gauge. I can't compare it to a fullsize because I cut it down before I even tried it in the gun. It has worked 100% and I don't feel like more ramp would help guide the shell any better. It doesn't hang down as far so there is less ...

QUOTE (EmanP @ Sep 6 2009, 03:59 PM) I heard of some tricks from competitors in the last year to help the SLP run better but can't seem to remember them. This is aside from the obvious mods that everyone seems to do like grinding down the loading gate, putting on a new operating handle or new followers. One of them was to replace the carrier spring with two Glock springs to help it ...

QUOTE (nkotb @ Sep 7 2009, 05:05 PM) Hey there, I'm in the process of trying to put together a shotgun that will serve both as a home defense gun that my wife can shoot, as well as something I could use for 3-gun. My criteria are as follow: Needs to have an adjustable LOP needs to be 20ga (lighter recoil for her, easier to reload shells faster for comp) needs to be semi-auto ...

Sounds like its time for a new magazine tube spring. They are consumable. Keep a few on hand.

QUOTE (mattmcg @ Aug 24 2009, 03:41 AM) As the title states, I'm looking for some photos of a Nordic oversized bolt release button for a Benelli M2. I'm trying to decide between either the Nordic button or the Arredondo one. Anybody have any pics of a Nordic one installed? I have the Nordic for Benelli on my FN.
