Hi Kay, This is a tough one but I do think with the help of your team of doctors it can be figured out. Here are some things that stuck out to me: I'm sure you know that in people with BiPolar disease antidepressants could possibly bring out mania and or rapid cycling which can lead to a bipolar diagnosis. I think your new clinician is wise to use caution before deciding on Bipolar though....

Hi Linda, I enrolled in that program when I had BC/BS. I guess they offer it to people with certain major medical problems. The idea being that if they help coordinate your care and advocate preventative medicine, they'll end up spending less money. I had a lengthy telephone interview after I enrolled so they could get my medical history, but when they called to follow up I had switched...

Hi petpupuppy, yes, an LP is an outpatient procedure. Even an office procedure. I have had two, early on (long ago). They were not helpful but we did not know that until we did them. One got "lost." And one was sent for the wrong things by a medical intern. Best to you, ANN
