Didn't the father of the woman post here a long time ago? Did a search for "microwave" and didn't find anything about this. Maybe it was on one of the earlier forumns? What I did find was a bunch of joyful posts from Gina. Sitting here remembering.

Dave, On the epilepsy one, it was to warm a bottle (they say). On the LSD one, she thought she was putting the turkey in the oven to get dinner started (they say). I think it was you who brought it up long ago

The other point I'll interject is don't try and diagnose yourself. That is only ADDING stress to your system. Let the doc's do their job. As hard as it is, try to take the back seat and as hard as it is RELAX a bit. There isn't much you can do. Take notes when symptoms occur. That will help the medical staff. Avoid caffeine in all forms if you wish to help eliminate possible triggers. Try to get as much sleep as possible (a...

Isn't 5-HTP a wonder? I would never do without it. Oversleeping may have caused a rush to get to the bus on time but hey! Sure beats not sleeping at all!! Any dreams?

I went to the ENT - who pinned all my symptoms to stress and sleep deprivation. Apparently I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Which I don't think is true. True that I'm stressed out and sleep deprived but nervous breakdown? eh.. My GP tells me it isn't stress related and a majority of the symptoms point towards the likeliness of an acoustic neuroma. I took the audiometry test- normal. So I went for the MRI (w/o...

I had never heard them all linked to epilepsy. Louise Woodward was just immature and inexperienced. The "microwave baby" mother was apparently a drug addict, probably crack.

I will be interested in knowing how you do on the lower dose. I started
decreasing my Keppra last week, but I wanted to do it very slowly because I
have been on this dose for approx 10 years and want to be able to know more
accurately what dose is the lowest effective dose possible. I notice that
one side of my tongue and poss the roof of my mouth in that one area gets
sl numb and feels like I ...

To answer your question about seeing a doc. yes you do need to see a doc. I'd suggest going to your primary care doc first and explain all this to him or her. You can mention that you did some reading and wonder if they are not seizures. Seizures can be caused by medical conditions too so this is a good place to start.
Also, there could be something else going on that you are unaware of, so ...

Hi Lor,
You might want to call your pharmacist to get the details but I do know that Evista can cause vision problems for some people but the one thing I don't like about this drug is tha it can cause cancer and blood clots. If You look under drug info on the main page you can get all the details. You might want to try taking calcium with vitamin D instead. I wish you the best and May God...

Good study. There are at least two Aha! findings here. The first May help to explain why some are unfazed or unhelped by AED's.

There are times when an ambulance should be called, of course, but it sounds like the school is afraid of liability. I don't know the specific circumstances, but that probably was the case.

Happy Thanksgiving to you, Sue! What am I grateful for? I'm grateful for the wonderful food we will be eating tomorrow and for being warm on a chilly day. I'm grateful for my wonderful husband of 35 years and my two great kids (my son will be with us tomorrow but my daughter lives in CA so she won't be joining us). I'm grateful that I live in the beautiful state of VT with our dogs and my ...

You've come to the right place to get answers to your questions! We're all in the same boat. Noticed that you live in Utah - does that mean that liquor as a seizure cause is not possible? Some people have seizures from alcohol and, since your seizures happen at night, it's something that's worth asking. (By the way, my paternal grandfather's family is Mormon.) Anyway...I have hd complex ...
