Would it work better than XP on a netbook?
My desktop machine actually had the cheek to suggest an upgrade to Windows 7 as a 'solution' (to a problem that doesn't exist). Perhaps it meant a solution for Microsoft?

It's hard to get across with still pictures, but essentially the desktop has (optionally, it can be turned off) a toolbar that auto-hides which gives
quick access to:
1. recently used apps.
2. recently used documents.
3. a searchbar to search your hard disk AND/OR the internet
