I just went to see this movie last night, and found it incredible! I haven't been too impressed by Woody Allen's films (Match Point and Scoop were...interesting), but I certainly agree with the reviews from when it premiered at Cannes - he seemed lost in London, but in Barcelona, he shines. All the actors give such beautiful performances - specifically Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johannson....

Such a brilliant piece and yeah, it's definitely one of the greatest novels ever (not just graphic). But of course, Alan Moore hates the idea of a movie: Q&A: 'Watchmen' creator Alan Moore | Alan Moore | Comic-Con Q&A | Books | Entertainment Weekly | 1

Has this thread already been done before? I did a search for "DVD" & "DVDs" and didn't come up with anything. So, what was your last DVD buy? Why? Why that DVD and not this DVD? I just got Memoirs of a Geisha today because it was on sale for $10. I really liked the movie anyway (the women & costumes, etc. are beautiful!), my boyfriend still hasn't seen it, & I can see ...

I believe it comes out in theaters tomorrow. I have yet to read the book but I have it, so I'm going to attempt to read it ASAP so I can see the movie while it's still in theaters. Anyone else seeing it? Let us know how it is.
