Franky NY 5x5 Deadlift 2x per week?

That's going to depend how heavy you're going. If you're going heavy then 5x5 DL 2x per week is not happening for any long period of time. If you're going light you could do it, but deadlifting light is...well, I don't get it.

I don't know jack about Kazuyuki Miyata, but if he goes up to like 15% bodyfat, he's probably pretty impressive-looking for his size. He's at, what, negative 5% bodyfat in that pic? Amazing!

Some wild guesses: 220/250/325 @ 10-12% = athletic 250/300/400 @ 8-10% = buff 300/400/450 @ 6-8% = bodybuilder

Couple of things:
Yes, its fine to work a muscle more than once per week. In fact, it's been my experience that two or even three times per week is better. Some think that once is best. But, there certainly is nothing wrong with twice per week.
There is no need to constantly go to failure. It's ok every once in a while. But, going to failure is not a requirement. And there are ...

As a hardgainer, you need to realize that long cardio is bad. I would simply do HIIT cardio or some forms of GPP and on those days increase my calories even more to make up for the lost calories.

how'd you respond to all of that work? that is a bit much... you have a pretty good exercise selection, but doing everything twice a week may be over kill.

I train 6 days a week most of the time. I go 4 on one off. I've been doing this since the beginning of my prep which started last jan. I only took about 2 days off after my show and then started busting my tail to reap the benefits of the rebound from prep. I have to say that I have been making gains every week and look a lot different then I did at this point post contest for my last show. ...

it would seem that you have good reason to incorporate both in your training. I would not recommend using both at the same time at maximum poundage, though. Doing so can easily lead to overtraining of the musculature involved.
There is, however, one other option. You could use the leg press because of the amount of poundage ...
