I still ride occasionally on my pretty old '00 Giant Iguana SE. Haven't had to replace too much, shifters twice, obviously tires and brake pads plenty of times, rear derailer once. It could probably do with a new chain and cassette but whatever.

Looks promising. Currently I use +p Gold Dots in all my carry guns. However from some of the testing I have seen they fill up with material just like they show in these vids, this was a concern for me as it could affect penetration/ expansion going through winter clothing. It looks like I'm going to have to find some of these around and see how my carry pieces like them.

As you said, dress is key -- Proper Layering - some sort of wicking base layer to keep sweat off your skin and keep it from freezing. Proper gear (eg a rated sleeping bag for the temps you're at) - get a thermos of warm soup, tea, and/or hard liquor to keep the chill out. Some people get those hot toes or hot feet or whatever those hand warmer things are. Good luck and have fun.
