Cals look good. The proof is what happens over time. You should be slowly putting on muscle weight (it's not always linear, could show suddenly). A little bit of body fat gains tells you you're maximizing your muscle gain potential. Remember, you're still growing. Don't short change food out of bf fears. It's not just your muscles that need fuel and you do need body fat for proper growth.

^^ Agreed. And without any stats no one will be able to help you. I don't think this diet would be good for anybody though. There are hundreds of posts just like this, read one. Really, the only thing you need to do is cut the junk out from your regular basis eating, (and no one should need to tell you what that is) and get some excersise...you'll see a difference.

Not a recipe per se but i LOVE cranberry sauce with my turkey, but the stuff in the can is so full of sugar and crap that i decided to make my own.
I get a bag of fresh or frozen cranberries, put it in a pot with just enough water to cover it, and then put a bunch of stevia in it until i reach the desired sweetness. Boil it until the cranberries start to pop out of their skin and it starts ...

I get full VERY easily and eating enough is still a problem for me. Usually what I do is not drink anything while I eat and I try to watch TV or be on the computer while I eat. It seems to help some. I'm curious as to any other possible ways. I've been trying not to force myself so I don't get sick.
ETA- When I first started I was usually always hungry so I bumped my calories up but then in ...

I think it sucks. You need a balanced diet, not one that will starve you. It took you awhile to gain weight and it'll take awhile to get it back off. Drastic measures usually lead to bad rebounds. I wouldn't even think about supps right now either.

Soy is fine, but that's a lot of processed soy. You might want to look into making your own soy milk, find a different regular snack, and just have occasional soy burgers/nuggets/etc.

Jenny-O turkey! Use that on a daily basis. I gave up red meat, so I started using the Jenny-O ground turkey in place of ground beef. They have good turkey breasts too. I use a lot of low sodium black beans too, throw it in everything (even salad). The Steamfresh individual veggie packs are pretty great too!

Don't get mad. She did hear you but for various reasons couldn't make the commitment now. Let her know you're sorry she didn't stick to the plan longer but that you'll be happy to help when she wants to try again. Then let it go. Sometimes it takes several starts before one sticks.

What are you calories and macros looking like?
I'm going to be honest I think a lot of it is all in one's mind. They think the minute the go in deficit that they will automatically lose strength...and it's just not true.
I can go through an entire prep on calories lower than the norm and keep my strength right up until the end when I become completely depleted.
The key is to make ...

I am very veiny as well and would like to get rid of it but without weight gain. I have researched and can not find anything on this. My body fat is not super low (around 16-18%) so it is part genetics but I notice it when I am hot they are embarssingly huge.

Honestly, I feel really guilty about it, but I consume more artificial sweetner than I would like too!! I drink so much tea and coffee in the run of a day its ridiculous, and I always use artificial sweeteners in them. Plus the sweeteners that are in my protein powder, which I sometimes have 2 or 3 scoops a day of, I definitely consume more than enough in one day....And I don't ever, ever get ...
