Being a martial artist, I tend to let my depression out during spars. Sure, not the most productive and nice thing to do, but hell, everyone has their thing right? Really it's all about the mind set. As it's been said, time heals all wounds, trust me I know. It's rough, but it definitely get's better. I recommend focusing that negative energy into something productive, or at least something anti-negative. Best of luck to...

Why can't you play football and bodybuild? I mean, both require weight lifting, both require eating tons of food. If you can play football, do it. You definitely don't want to miss out on that. But, consider everything you will need to give up if you are serious about it. If you want to bodybuild, use your football training to put on good solid, manageable muscle weight, and when football comes to an end, you are already ahead of the...

Look into AA meetings in your area. They will help by giving you a support group. My best friend is an alcoholic and is doing MUCH better since he started going. It's been about 3 years now and his career is really taking off and he's had a gf for about 2 of those years. He's an all around more enjoyable person to be around.

I can understand your fear... It's only natural in the end. But as long as you can get the weight up without feeling like you are hurting yourself or cheating with your body, you are doing fine. It's all in the mind, you just have to focus on form and use whatever supplements and food you can to keep your ectomorph frame building muscle.
You aren't a pussy for feeling that way either, it ...

I know how you feel man. Just take this for what it is worth. You are 17, you are in high school, things like this happen. Don't worry about it right now. I was kind of the same way in high school, not all the same problems, but I had some of the worries you have. You have probably heard it before but hear it again. You are soon to move on from high school to bigger/better things. You have tons ...
