it does indeed look like loose skin/the lats bit of fat floating around waiting to be burned off. heh...it reminds me exactly of my tummy. just give it time. that's what i'm doing. after all, summer is still 7.5 months away; right?

There is a bunch of good motivating advice in this thread, and I'm glad to read it because you sound like a nice kid in a less than perfect situation. Remember, you can also do a lot with body-weight exercise as well. Maybe you can't afford to get to a gym at this point in your life and lift heavy, but you can condition your body and get in great shape all on your own. I have a book with all body-weight exercises and training plans...

People struggle with obesity because they are lazy, excuse making retards. Why read a book of excuses? Eat at deficit with adequate protein. The end.

Not sure where it was or how true it is but I read that the "eating every 3 hours boosts your metabolism" is a myth. But...I don't know about you but eating a little every few hours keeps my appetite down. So for me it helps.
