wow you're having a way worse experience than I did when I first started Keto. I felt kind of "high" when i first started. Maybe up your cals some and drink more water. Kick start your metabolism with 2 tbsp of Peanut butter in the mornings with that coffee. That's just my opinion of course. Either way good luck!

Okay so.. yesterday i had a hardcore workout.. and today i did legs.. when i first got to the gym i was 236 (yay lost 4 more pounds lol) and after my workout and conditioning i my weight was 238 hahaha... all that water in my belly YUMM

So here it is. down to 275lbs from 288lbs using the above nutrition minus beef liver and multi vit as my shipment still has not arrived. I feel good a little sore from the workouts but all in all a 11 lbs loss in about 4 days is freaking fantastic. Yesterday instead of fish i went ot McD's and got to cheese burgers minus bun and condiments and ate those. went to bed around 9:30 i was beat.

Okay, I've decided Fitnessman is pretty much the master of all things Keto on these boards. And I have to be honest, I'm so full from what I've eaten today I can't imagine having anything else today except maybe some more whey or casein before bed. So, therefore, the approach must definitely change. His 10 calories per pound theory is going to have to work, because I won't ever make it over 3000!! New (more realistic)...

Thought since i was starting my first try at Keto I would also do my first Log. I am new to Keto so i have been reading a lot and getting a lot of good ideas.
My first day was monday. Found getting my protein was easy but all the fat was kinda hard.. Used to eating a high protein low fat and low-carb diet.. My starting stats are 5'9" 178lbs and around 15% BF

Lean Mass: 190-200 (this scale NEVER gives the same number)
Going with a CKD, with a 65/30/5 split to get a bit more protein in (plus, good god it's hard to eat that much fat in a day). I'm sure I'll lose some performance at the gym, but I'd rather bring out the muscles I have now instead of worrying about building a lot more, at ...

Was on vacation from Nov 26-Dec 6 and spent a lot of time reading about nutrition.
Prior to vacation, I was making it to the gym ~5 days a week, however on vacation I was traveling and didn't have access to a gym. I did pushups, seated dips, lateral raises (with textbooks), situps, pullups, and did cardio on a treadmill. Returned from vacation two pounds lighter!

Friday 10-30-09:
OK, so up until Friday I had been nearly perfect with my macros and target calories. I am sure I was in Ketosis prior to Friday but to be honest I never felt foggy or had smelly urine or bad breath (that I am aware of anyway) so I do not know for sure.

i thought i loved cereal but keto has shown me how carbs make you hungrier. i could never stop at one bowl. my skin also improved.

I have been really confused lately. Not sure if I should just count my calories and eat clean or try keto. Not only do I have to lose a TON of fat, I also want to get over my addiction to sugar/refined carbs. I also believe I have candida (yeast) overgrowth.
