My guess, based on what you said, is long head of the biceps. Do you have poor posture, or any muscle imbalances (anterior/posterior), or any prior injury history? What you can do right now is self massage your other shoulder with your other hand. Also, loosen up the biceps on the arm in the bent arm position (relaxed biceps). So lie down and relax your arm in the bent position and use your other hand to work on the biceps, and shoulder...

no diagnosis, but just a note on pain: 1) never move into pain - 2) if there's pain - and this has sort of been suggested: a) reduce the range of motion (made it smaller) b) reduce the load. If combinations of load/ROM reductions don't help, then consider an alternative movement and get your movement assessed formally to see what might be happening. best mc

The chronic back pain has gone away. But the tightness in my hamstrings sometimes returns if I pick something of the ground with a round back and slightly strain my back. I usually notice my hams have tightened after something like this. This tightness actually compounds the problem as its easier to strain my back with tight hams. The things that have helped me a lot are pilates and any exercise which strengthens the hams. But still its very...

Amen brother, thanks for the help this far. I guess the last thing I could ask would be, what exactly should I tell my doc? Or basically discuss what we've talked about on here and he pretty much will know how to proceed. I am assuming that on this upcoming checkup I will be asking to get referred to a shoulder specialist? Thanks again.

Keloid scars are a pain. Unfortunately, surgically removing them just causes an even bigger keloid scar so that's not an option. And doing anything to aggravate them will just cause it to grow. Don't try to break it up with massage. Your only real option is to stick with the steroid injections and hope it shrinks with those I'm afraid.

Think of all the different directions that the shoulder can move - it is one of the most complex joints in the body, and also one of the easiest to injure.
In, out, up, down, forward, backward, shrugs, round and round. Every one of those movements is done by different muscles, and you must work all of them to get balance and strength - and also to prevent injury.
You just need to vary ...

Well, I'd like to seek as much advice on this as possible, so I'd like to give more information. Considering that I have that popping in both shoulders, is there a potential that I could have labrum problems in both shoulders? Obviously there is a chance, but should I request an MRI for my right shoulder as well as the left one (which did show a tear on an MRI?)

Good to know there's an effective, albeit expensive, solution out there. I'm assuming it's fairly safe, as well.

hey, i tore my labrum about 6 years ago wrestling in high school and it completely healed after a few months of PT. you dont need to rush to surgery. two of the doctors i went to wanted to go into my shoulder and two didnt. ive never had a problem with it since. definitely try PT first.

Hams are definately sore! I deeply miss being in the gym and feel like such a slob especially after pounding down some KFC last night and had some residual left overs for lunch..yummy. Today i'm sitting at 196lbs.
The bruising on my arm is the worse it's been. It's a dark purple and the outter chest is showing some serious bruising now. Besides that, I have no pain, maybe just a bit ...

It's possible you did a bit too much, and your muscles tightened up again which is leading to your pain.
Definitely stretch it out and possible do it again lighter and see how it feels.
If it doesn't resolve, I would definitely see a doc about it just to get a second opinion since this is the internet after all...
It's also likely that your glutes are weak. Weak glutes often give rise to...

How good is your internal range of motion now?
Definitely add in posterior capsule stretch (arm across the body).
Keep focusing on scapular mobility especially wall slides, and strengthening those external rotators + posterior delts/scap retractors.
