No doubt you were up against some serious competition! You hung in there and seems at times it could have gone either way! It's great you are humble enuff to identify what your weeksnesses are. Without that decernment you will only become stagnant. Reps!

In a nut shell it can be done, so dont worry about it. This past summer I was away for a whole week during my prep. The gym sucked, but was able to get my training in and most of the family supported me. As far as quicky/convenient type meals, I would say a good protein bar is your best bet. Have fun!

Hey Fit You just have to figure out movements that work. Re: my f'd up shouldler: I can't really do any over head pressing with significant weight but I can do inclines at a lower angle. I can do overhead presses using the plate loaded squat machine because I can lean forward a little. The key is training smart and hard. I never felt any supplement will help you per se gain mass. Sure, you want to eat well, have a great whey protein and use BCAA's. Fan of Scivation of course! Plus, it just takes time. Best to learn how to eat properly just above maintenaince to make solid gains.

As long as you give yourself enough time to diet you should be fine. How many weeks were you planning on doing? I'm guessing somewhere in the 16wks range give or take a couple.
