That is a good question - my Honda uses 5W20. I am contemplating using mmo
next time - wondering if I should use a thicker oil with 20% mmo?

The MoS2 anti-friction additive is a colloidal MoS2
dispersion. You are supposed to dose it 50ml/quart. So one 300ml bottle treats 6 quarts of oil. It's like $6/300ml at AAP. And given how small the amount added is, I would think its not going to change the bulk properties of the oil, as much as adding a quart of say MMO/Lucas Oil stabilizer/Rislone would.

What purpose are you adding it for? Is there some symptom you're trying to fix? The MMO website says between 10%-25% is fine, and that it's fine for all oils.

after the service to inspect what the BG 109 did. We run the BG 109 for about 20 minutes in an already heated engine. Then we drain the oil (you ...

why is it a "mystery". i dunno , something that goes both in your gas and oil... it's chemistry simply can't be good for both.

i have only used mmo in gasoline. but i would use only one. my idea is to use mmo all the time or not at all. and only in the gasoline. i have nothing against seafoam. a friend told a story about a man he met that had a two engine gasoline aircraft. used mmo ALL the time. the faa told him he had to
overhaul the engines. the mech called him and ask "why are we overhauling the engines" what ...
