I think we all see that the point being made is that just because you've been doing something and see no apparent negative effects from it ..it's no reason to do it. He could have used playing in traffic as another example. We see it quite often in terms of oils "I used it from 99-04 without apparent problems". That's fine for using one road over another ..one technique over another ..etc..etc. that you HAVE to...

I had a heart attack and I exercised etc etc. There's always the exception. But I'll still use MMO. Although I don't think the Escape likes 1/2 quart in sump and a few ounces in gas tank. Hard to explain but it just doesn't run as well when running in both areas. The Festiva loves it though.. probably adds 2hp.. with 63hp it's a regular rocket now

I would keep an eye on the oil level since it may go down, the reason is that the MMO may soak into any junk inside of your engine. Good Luck

For those who forgot, the product was REMOVED as a sponsor and it's owner REMOVED from the site. That's just a question of semantics for some, but I think it's a point worth remembering.

Evo, I work at a Mazda dealer in Florida and we have begun using this product for the "performance oil change". We have used this product with some pretty badly sludged engines and had pretty good results after removing the valve cover before and after the service to inspect what the BG 109 did. We run the BG 109 for about 20 minutes in an already heated engine. Then we drain the oil (you ...

The MoS2 anti-friction additive is a colloidal MoS2 dispersion. You are supposed to dose it 50ml/quart. So one 300ml bottle treats 6 quarts of oil. It's like $6/300ml at AAP. And given how small the amount added is, I would think its not going to change the bulk properties of the oil, as much as adding a quart of say MMO/Lucas Oil stabilizer/Rislone would.

What purpose are you adding it for? Is there some symptom you're trying to fix? The MMO website says between 10%-25% is fine, and that it's fine for all oils.
