Boat looks pretty mint, love the swim platform. You may want to post some interior shots as well as some
engine room shots. Good luck on the sale. Walter

Hello Bruce, and welcome to the "Old Silverton" club! We keep our '84 in
Havre de Grace, just around the corner from Lee's. She's staying in the slip this winter so I'll be busy with maintenance and upgrades. Rob PS- As far as picture posting, I use Photobucket with good success. It's free and easy to use.

If the boat is solid (good condition) 85k is a steal. If it has
Crusader motors, you are golden Walter

hull speed but less fuel burn with the yanmars at higher RPM's...

I would unscrew inflow hose and screw a shutoff onto it and close. Change filters, then screw shutoff into filter, and then it is there for future. Easier to control the flow out a hose, than out the top of a filter? what kind Racors ?

Ihave a 34 C with one 16,000 btu unit. Boats are roughly the same size. Sometimes diffic ult to cool the salon on a 90
degree day with sun coming in all the windows. Most days though, it's fine.

Our last boat was a 1999
Silverton 351 with the big block Crusaders. Great boat, very comfortable. The wife has a bad arm and the access to the bow from the bridge was a bonus for her. The worst water we ever had her in was a really nasty 5-7' chop coming up the Delaware bay from Cape May. It was bad enough that we were taking a lot of water in the face up on the bridge but she handled well ...
