Good Afternoon Just got back from the hospital a little while ago and all the tests went great. Her hormone levels have been doubling so everythings on track. The doctor was nice Ive met her a few times over the years but she did make one comment I we appreciate. You can take opiates and not be psychologically addicted to them. Lots of people show no signs of being a junkie while on meds for pain. Sadly i am not one of them. I developed chronic pain about i dunno 6 years ago and have been on various opiates steady since about a year after that. I was using opiates now and again to get high but once the chronic pain kicked in and my mental disorder got worse addiction set in and it's been there...

^What do you take these meds for? I take a number of medications but only one for a Panic disorder- I'm taking a light dose of Clonazepam. It has helped me tremendously- I called my Dr. today and I am waiting to hear back b/c I have had breakthrough panic attacks- but I have been under high stress,so..... I hope to use my time on this medication to help me learn better coping mechanisms so I can be free of the benzos.

Honestly- I would seek professional help to stay clean.
I would take my second chance to make it in the real world and run with it.
Have you tried seeing a therapist or getting on antidepressants?
I'm not one to jump to medication but there are more productive alternatives than turning to opiates and falling back into the same pattern and problems.

From what I have read, the UK is littered with this stuff. I don't know much else about the UK drug sales except that you guys are getting crappy xtc, which means more sales for meph.
My advice to you is to continue to search for people to talk to about your addiction.
If the UK has any equivalence to narcotics anonymous, I am sure you can find many meph users there.

Easy....my best friend that OD'd in my house and died on my couch (while I was performing CPR on him while paramedics were on the way).
Kinda started my spiral into oblivion. Had known that guy since grade school, no one knew me better.

I just realized i havent self harmed since about the beggining of july or last june. Maybe even earlier. This is kinda a record for me.
The lighter burns are still quite visable on my arm but i don't really care about that.

I was able to take 2 days off of the drinking, proud of myself for that, but today it was calling and I couldn't stop hearing it. Guess I didn't really WANT to ignore the call. I had to taper down (I was drinking about 7-8 beers/ciders a day) and take a few days off, my liver hurt, I've got my annual coming up and think I'll ask to make sure my liver can still function.

^If Lexapro caused manic symptoms, then perhaps you are. Most SSRI's wlll cause mania in people wiith Bipolar. Just remember that, with Bipolar, mood swings tend to be more gradual, and may occurr over several months or weeks. You are making 3k a week, why not take a couple nights off a week and go out to a club or something an try to meet someone? Why don't you start talking to people at school? I don't think your situation is quite as bad as you are making it out to be...you have plenty of prospect to go out and meet people...you just have to go out and do it.
